This project is open to anyone who wants to learn photography or gain inspiration to get through artistic ruts.
You will probably do better with some knowledge of your camera since we will not be teaching the basics of picture taking. We are diving more into improving upon the basic skills.
If you are a newbie, don't fret! You can still follow along and participate at your own speed. We are here for support and encouragement.
Join our Facebook group and follow us on Instagram.
Post your weekly photos on our Facebook page. And while you're there, say hi to the others in the community. We are all working through this project together.
Post your weekly photos on your own Instagram page and use the montly hashtag (#p52_theme).
There are several chances for features in our community.
Once a week on our Facebook group, we will post a call-out Photo Dump. Post your photo in the comments for a chance to be featured in our Highlight Reel on the blog.
We also select a photo from the images on our Facebook wall to be the cover photo for the week.
When you post on Instagram, use the montly hashtag (#p52_theme). The moderators pull images from these hashtags to feature on our Instagram page.
Although we are not in charge of organizing or running the individual loops on Instagram, we do highly encourage particpating in one. They help you stay accountable to the project and offer encouragement and inspiration.
We often post loop call-outs on Facebook to help facilitate the forming of loops. Look for those or create your own call-out post. Don't be afraid to start your own loop or ask someone if you can join theirs.
